A Lifetime of Entertaining

Throughout my life, I've had the pleasure of working with incredible people, singing, acting, and producing projects I'm proud of. From the stage to the screen and everything in between, I've spent my life working toward the goal of creating art that resonates, inspires, and most importantly, brings joy to all who come across it.

I’m very grateful for all the opportunities in my life – performing onstage, on albums, radio, film, and TV. See how my life has unfolded in the wonderful world of entertainment!

Early Years

When I was three years old, my preschool teacher, Naomi Rosenberg, had
me stand in front of my classroom and entertain the class by singing, acting, and showing my artwork. From that time on, I dreamed of living in Los Angeles, the land of TV, film, and endless entertainment.

My elementary, junior high, and high school music teachers,
Mrs. Vosburgh, Miss Kaplan, and Dr. Suchoff, gave me
solos, acting roles, and awards. Those knowledgeable, supportive,
and encouraging educators helped me form a foundation and
love for performing that I still carry with me.

Career Beginnings

At 16, I graduated high school, went to Ohio University, started a band that played around Athens, Ohio, and opened for acts like Dave Van Ronk and Jim Dawson. I studied voice at the O.U. School of Music and landed some operatic roles, including “Marcellina” in “Le Nozze di Figaro.”

In my senior year, I was invited to perform a full-length Classical voice recital. Upon graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Music from O.U.’s College of Fine Arts, I moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio, and taught music at Mercer School for four years. At the same time, I performed in groups around Cleveland, “Betsy Hammer & The Heartbeats” and “Quiet Storm.”

After those performances, I was approached to create, write, direct, act, and sing in a children’s TV show, “Music In Motion,” which won a cable TV award. A theatre director then contacted me to play “Maria” in “The Sound of Music.” My first big break came when I booked the role of “Prudie Cupp” in the Broadway-produced musical “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” a fabulous and amazing time!

Move to Music City

My anesthesiologist ex-husband didn’t wish to live in LA and suggested we move to the world-renowned songwriting mecca of Nashville, known as “Music City USA.” I opted to “bloom where I was planted.” Passionately, I continued singing in recording studios daily, spent boundless hours honing my songwriting skills, sang in clubs, at private parties, at Fan Fair, at Nashville Sounds baseball games, at an NHL Nashville Predators/Montreal Canadiens hockey game, and played a featured role in a TV pilot.

My original songs were recorded by artists on CURB Records, WORD Records, Rounder Records, Junction Records, and Raider Records. While in Nashville, I was introduced to GRAMMY Award-winning Recording Engineer and Producer, Brooks Arthur, Adam Sandler’s legendary record producer (“The Chanukah Song”). Brooks produced several recordings on me.

Soon after, I made my move to Los Angeles, the land of my dreams, where I worked with Brooks Arthur and Adam Sandler at Happy Madison Productions in one of the greatest times of my life!

Music & Movies

At Happy Madison, I had the great joy and privilege of working as Associate Music Supervisor for eight of Adam Sandler’s films, singing with Adam in his band and in his films, and working alongside Brooks Arthur on music productions.

I sang the role of “Phone Sex Lady” in “Adam Sandler’s Eight Crazy Nights” and performed the role of “Funeral Singer” in Adam’s Netflix Halloween comedy classic, “Hubie Halloween.” Hawaiian record label chief, the late great Bobby Pileggi, selected me to be an artist for his boutique Hawaiian indie label, RSM Records, and executive-produced our “Me Too” song and video!

Recent Works

I’ve recently acted in Chad Tepper’s fascinating and edgy Christmas film “Homeless for the Holidays,” and in Tommy Lee’s newest music video, “Stupid World” Ft. Chad Tepper.

I’ve been vocally coaching my wonderfully talented voice students and have co-written and co-produced the “Dream Her” theme song for renowned speaker April Kemp’s fantastic Fanatical DreamHer podcast.
