(upon producing Cher’s vocal, and singing on mic with Cher, for the End Titles song of the movie “Zookeeper”)

successful Vocal Coach.

MUSIC PRODUCER & SUPERVISOR
As Associate Music Supervisor, Betsy worked on
these films: “I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry,” “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan,” “The House Bunny,” “Bedtime Stories,” “Grown Ups,” “Just Go With It,” “Jack and Jill,” “That’s My Boy,” and “Grown Ups 2.” Betsy served as Music Consultant for Adam’s film “Click.”
Betsy has had the pleasure of working with Adam Sandler at his film company, Happy Madison Productions, for twelve years. During that time, she had opportunities in various roles – as singer,
actress, music co-producer, music consultant,
associate producer of Adam’s annual holiday
show, and as an associate music supervisor
in Happy Madison’s music department.
As Associate Producer of “The Jewish Songbook: The Heart and Humor of A People” (Shout! Factory Records), Betsy co-produced Paul Shaffer, Neil Sedaka, Adam Sandler, the late great Marvin
Hamlisch, Brooks Arthur, Lainie Kazan, The Manhattan Transfer,
Dave Koz, Jason Alexander, Rob Schneider, Robert Smigel, Kenny Karen and Richard Belzer. As a Featured Artist on “The Jewish Songbook,” Betsy recorded a duet of “Sabbath Prayer” with
renowned singer/actor Theodore Bikel.
One of Betsy's greatest times as Music Producer
was producing, one-on-one, legendary icon Cher, who played the Lioness in the film “Zookeeper.” While recording Cher’s vocals,
Betsy and Cher literally sang across from one another on facing microphones–as Cher deftly learned all of her singing parts–on the spot.
Cher would ask Betsy to come up with a
harmony, and Cher would nail it.
It was totally exhilarating singing and working
with Cher –- a truly sensational and memorable experience. For the “Zookeeper” End Titles song, Betsy also co-produced these other great artists: Sylvester Stallone, Judd Apatow, Maya Rudolph,
Jim Breuer, Rich Minervini, Jon Favreau, Faizon
Love, Bas Ruten and Adam Sandler, whose character “Donald the Monkey” is hilarious!

While living in Nashville, Betsy had the honor and
great privilege of becoming friends with one of her
Music Mentors, the late great world-famous guitar
legend, Chet Atkins (http://www.misterguitar.us).
Chet invited Betsy to recording sessions, had her sit in
on business meetings, and even treated her to a guitar
one day at a Gibson factory they visited!
“Chet was an incredibly inspirational soul --
one of the most brilliant, funny, unpretentious creative
artists I’ve ever been blessed to know!”
"When I first met Adam Sandler in the ‘90’s at Brooks Arthur’s show “CROONERS,” I had no idea that just a few years later I’d be enjoying the blessing of working with Adam at his film company Happy Madison, creatively assisting Brooks with Adam’s music projects. Working across the hall from Adam for a dozen years was an opportunity to learn from a comedic genius. Adam is a phenomenally focused, hard-working, hysterical artist, a sharp, high-powered executive, and a devoted family man and loyal friend. If someone finds out that I’ve worked with Adam they inevitably ask, “Is he as nice a guy as he seems?” The answer is “Yes.” Knowing Adam Sandler through all these years has had a profound impact on my life and I appreciate every opportunity he offers me. Adam is a unique, brilliant, hilarious soul and I’m grateful for the immensely positive influence he’s had and continues to have on my life. It’s as good as it gets working with and respecting a true master. "
